Thursday 15th February 2018  | 09:00 - 15:00

The Hauser Forum, 3 Charles Babbage Rd, Cambridge CB3 0GT

The Department for International Trade, in partnership with Enterprise Europe Network in the East of England, has arranged for international life science, medical, healthcare and analytical science buyers to meet with East of England companies to discuss potential mutual partnerships. In addition, there will be specialist commercial officers from the following Southern European countries: Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Israel & Portugal* who will offer market guidance to East of England companies interested in trading in their respective markets.

*Full list of countries/buyers subject to confirmation

Why take part?

International Buyers: This is an exclusive chance for you to meet pre-qualified British companies that are keen to achieve more through overseas growth. There will be a mix of medium-sized businesses and smaller companies that can provide a niche product range.

UK Sellers: We have worked with our global network to bring a wide range of buyers from across the world to meet with you and give you the chance to start a partnership with these contacts. You will have the chance to tell them about your product and discuss future opportunities.

To make sure that everyone gets the most out of the day we will be working with you to perform an online matching service, so you will be able to select from the sellers/buyers most suitable for you.  Ideally each buyer will be able to meet with 10 companies on the day during pre-arranged meetings that last for 20 minutes and we will do our best to accommodate as many suitable appointments for sellers as possible.

How it Works

Registration

Registration opens on 1st December and will remain open until 1st February.

2

Set up a profile

If you are a seller, describe the products you are offering. If you are a buyer, your profile should describe the type of product/partnership you are seeking.

3

Request meetings

From the 18th January  you can start to send & receive meeting requests.

You will then have until 8th February to finalise them.

4

Build connections

A few days prior to the event you will receive an email with your meeting schedule, showing you who you will meet, what time and the table number. You can always check this online or via the app.
